Today many ancient pictograph and petroglyph sites sit out where you can only find them on horseback. Here in Wyoming I have had many old-timers tell me of such places hidden on local ranches. Many a cowboy have stumbled upon these ancient wonders. I am sure as one would ponder on what these symbols mean, and the story that the men who made them were trying to tell, they would have received a teaching in history.
